Met friends here and had a party of 8 which included kids. I made reservations and when we got there we were informed that a waitress had called in so they only had 1 server for the entire restaurant, so expect delays. We were fine with this since we would be chatting and catching up. We ended up not having to wait very long at all. Our drink order was taken right away, followed by our food order. Had we not been warned about being short staffed I'm not even sure we would have noticed a delay in anything! One person ordered a burger they were out of, but were able to substitute a beef burger for the elk burger and keep all the toppings. Everyone fully enjoyed their food, kids included!! I did find the restaurant hard to find as it's in an apartment complex

Our love affair with the patio at Oliver's continues! After our unforgettable last visit, we eagerly returned for another evening of delicious food and great ambiance. This time, our delightful server, Gracie, greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious energy that set the tone for an amazing night. She wasn't just attentive; she was a true gem, sharing light-hearted banter and helpful suggestions that made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Deciding to switch things up from our previous feast, we opted for a more casual yet equally indulgent approach, choosing to sip on some fine wine while nibbling on a variety of appetizers. Gracie's enthusiasm for the menu helped us uncover some hidden treasures we hadn't tried last time, and we were excited to dive in. First up were the loaded tots, a dish that can only be described as a crunchy, golden revelation. The exterior was perfectly crisp, while the inside was a pillowy delight that practically melted in your mouth. The accompanying sauce was nothing short of divine; its rich and zesty flavors elevated each bite, leaving us craving more. Next, we dug into the empanadas, and what a treat they were! Stuffed generously with gooey cheese, each bite released a delectable flow of melted goodness. It was like experiencing a gourmet version of a hot pocket, taken to the next level of culinary creativity. We couldn't help but rave about them, each one was a bite-sized party of flavors! As we continued our culinary adventure, we were served beautifully presented shrimp. The plating was so exquisite that we almost hesitated to dive in, though the mouthwatering aroma quickly dispelled any hesitation. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, succulent and bursting with flavor, making each mouthful a reason to smile. And then there was the artichoke dip; a dish that should absolutely be on everyone’s must-try list. It was a creamy, cheesy wonder, with a richness that lingered on the palate. Every scoop left us yearni

🦉❤️ Owl Roofing loves Oliver’s Restaurant because it’s one of those places that works just as well for dinner as it does for breakfast. It’s comfortable. Big booths, warm lighting, and a lot of regulars who clearly come back again and again. I like going there for dinner when I want something simple and hearty. The pot roast is the one people talk about the most. Tender, slow cooked, and covered in gravy with mashed potatoes on the side. It’s the kind of meal that feels like someone’s grandma made it. The hot turkey dinner is another good one. Thick slices of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, all piled together with gravy. Not fancy, but exactly what you want when you’re craving comfort food. I also like the crowd there in the evening. Families finishing up sports practice, older couples having a quiet dinner, and people who clearly know the servers by name. It feels like a real neighborhood restaurant. Service is friendly and the food comes out quick even when it’s busy. Nothing trendy. Just classic comfort food done right. Basically if you’re around Shoreview and want a cozy dinner that actually fills you up, Oliver’s is a great move. (Also… get the pot roast. That’s the move.)

Outstanding fresh ingredients. The scrambler comes with eggs, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, onions, cheese and their potato hash. So fresh and tasty. The Flapjacks were exquisite with bourbon flavored maple syrup and flavored butter. The service was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Have always driven by curious about this place, and I am very glad I finally stopped in for brunch! Had the scrambler and biscuits with gravy accompanied by a caffe mocha and an iced matcha latte. So good, great service even seated at the bar since tables were full. Speaks to how well loved Oliver's is! Will definitely be back to try more or just sit/relax/study/work with some coffee.

Loved it! Good food in a pleasing, relaxing atmosphere. However, a little more variety on the menu and chocolate chips for the pancakes would be great! The server said people request chocolate chips all the time… I think the company should take the hint lol.😉

The burger was amazing, Mahi tacos were really good as well. The only thing that didn't blow us away was the pies, they weren’t very rich. Still good just not on par with how amazing everything else was!

Heard it was a nice place. Didn't realize it was such a aesthetically pleasing dining area. Fully equipped with a wonderful outdoor seating selection as well as boche court. I had eggs benedict and the side was an arugula vinaigrette salad, nice touch. My friend had the Oliver's spinach omelette again. He had a side of arugula vinaigrette salad. He was hungry so we also split a serving of biscuits and gravy, made with a wonderful sausage meat that reminded me of a Jimmy Dean's sausage. Loved it!. Beautiful place. Beautiful interior. Large free parking. Easy to get to. I'll be back.

Oliver’s in Shoreview was the perfect meet-up spot for our family ahead of a wedding. We were looking for somewhere comfortable, welcoming, and easy for everyone to gather, and Oliver’s checked all the boxes. We ordered appetizers only because we wanted a good “base” before the rest of the wedding festivities, and honestly, everything we had was great. The sliders were delicious and exactly the kind of shareable bite you hope for when ordering apps with a group. The corn dip is always a must for me. It is one of those menu items that you do not skip. The chips are thin, but somehow still sturdy enough to get a really good scoop without the tragic chip snap halfway through. Important appetizer engineering, and Oliver’s nailed it. We also had the pepperoni pizza, and it was really good. The crust was done to perfection, with just the right texture and bite. I personally prefer the bigger, flatter pepperoni style, but even with the smaller pepperoni, it was still a great pizza and one I would absolutely order again. The cheese curds were another standout. They look different than what you see at most places, and that is because they are different. They have their own thing going on, and it really works. They were flavorful, unique, and definitely took the classic cheese curd up a notch. The space itself is beautiful. Oliver’s has this bright, window-filled atmosphere that makes it feel open, warm, and inviting. It is a great place for groups, casual get-togethers, or a pre-event stop where you want good food without feeling rushed or cramped. Overall, Oliver’s was a great choice for our family wedding meet-up. Good food, great shareable appetizers, a beautiful space, and the kind of atmosphere that makes gathering easy. I would definitely recommend it and will happily be back.

Drove past this Oliver's a hundred times and thought it was a small bistro type place. Went for brunch and was surprised. Spacious but comfortable interior with booths, high tables, bar seating, outdoor seating and counter seating if you're dining by yourself. Professional staff. Menu was impressive and well thought out. Bruch was hot melted caramel roll, fresh fruit, breakfast sausage, bacon and potatoes ag ratan. (I probably forgot some items) The staff encouraged us to ask for seconds. Then came the entree of your choice. Lastly were large dessert candies. We were given a take-out box for what we couldn't finish. Plenty of well-lit parking in back.
